Recovery (Week 89)


Alrighty, that's a better end result than last week. I don't have a lot of visual progress, but that's ok because I have better news.

I'm wrapping up the basic and I mean basic story implementation of the finale, connecting it with the story, and finalizing things so that I can once again playtest the game. The aim is to playtest until I reach the finale and then begin scaling the content until I feel it is ready. Then, I will be resuming gameplay revamps and be thoroughly testing and revising content from all corners of the game. 

I'm hopefully going to stream some of this as I really might as well at this point.

By no means am I remotely close to done but this is a much better position to be in than before and I'm hopeful things will turn out well soon.

I'm going to be spending Sunday playtesting (aside from working today obviously) and then the rest of the week until Wednesday will be Tears of Morganna work.

A lot of the work was handled in my playtesting of the dungeon but now I'll be able to really dial in where I want the gameplay and check for any weaknesses/faults in the combat. I'll have to spend lots of time with the different classes and really give them more options and capabilities to grow in unique and interesting ways, they certainly need improvement.

Unfortunately that will be all from me this week, it's not visual stuff to chew on but it's important news all the same. Thanks for sticking with me and join me back here next week for hopefully some fun gameplay.
