Plans Moving Forward

With the release of SR:MT's final demo update, we have to look to what's ahead and what to expect.

The short term will see small patches here and there as more content and mechanics are fleshed out and improved, and bug fixes will probably be sent out as I learn of them over the course of the next couple weeks.

Next few months:

I intend to resume working on Tears of Morganna and getting its demo into a more suitable situation, and while doing that, I will largely enter a level and art design overhaul of the beginning of SR:MT's main story. My focus will be the first 'dungeon' the Underworld. You will continue to see intermit updates on the devlog on how we're doing. I intend to be very forward about what's being tinkered with as to give you guys something to look forward to, and even involve you in some cool ideas here and there, if you guys would like a chance to be a part of the process.

Extended Plans:

I don't expect any kind of major content to come out until at least January, which is about when I expect we'll see Tears' demo updated. Once that happens, I'll begin a process of balancing both projects, with the goal of releasing Tears of Morganna in 2023. The development of Chapter 1 takes priority of course, but I intend to refine my dev cycle until I can achieve a release of some manner of small to mid size project at least every other year.

I won't forecast anything as far as Chapter 1 release date as we have a LOT of ground to cover, but I'd love to have it well underway in 2023 if not out by its end.

I would like to try private playtests by about the end of spring 2023, and I may be looking for testers around that time.

These are just my initial thoughts, we'll see what direction things go once we get further into things. I wish you all a wonderful week!
