Progress Never Tasted So Good (Week 79)
This week... we got progress! At last, at freaking last, I got the Me'zhad sprite finished, which means for the moment, I'm done working on walking sprites. Thank the lord.
I'm still going to be doing some character designs, and a whole butt ton of sprite animations for the story, but that part is demonstrably less annoying than movement. I've already finished one animation for the story, and while I won't tell you what the context is, just know that fun stuff is in dev now that I'm not tied down by animating boring old men graphics.
This is the part where I upload a teaser to taunt you with cool things but apparently the image uploader is bust or something, I might try again later. Oh well.
Zephy has finished another design which is good, and lately Xavier has been hard at work on the songs for the game, we've only got 8/9 ish tracks left for the first chapter of the game.
I know that things have been slow, but I'm alive and kicking again. With Me'zhad out of the way, things are going to be speeding up quite a lot.
