Captain, Creative Block Ahead! (Week 73)
I probably said something about making more ground last devlog. I was a liar. I assume you know that because of my decision to skip last week’s devlog, and you would be right. Unfortunately this week is not much different. Zephy has been working on artwork this week and it’s a great one as usual though we had a cool looking miscommunication result at first. I am told progress continues on several songs in the ost, waiting for updates on that from the composer.
The holidays always screw with my sleep rhythm and it plays havoc with my work. I am attempting to also balance my time between game dev and experimenting towards a music project of my own. The end result will be uploaded on Itch and will (hopefully) be useful to fellow devs.
I didn’t get nothing done but it isn’t impressive. I did manage to finish Garen’s sprite and got it into the game, I just started work on Iskar’s sprite as the original is too small. In time I hope to regain momentum, and I have changed up my alarm to attempt to correct my sleep schedule. So far I have actually woken up at the right time. So far so good.
Here’s to next week and getting things steered the right way.
