Midweek Devlog # 7 - Special Announcement


So this week I have some very exciting news for you all!

The character artist has sent me the two designs for the characters I asked them to design, and it's time to share them!

The character artist's name is Othellophi, otherwise known as Sydney Height and Mori. With these designs of Wina and Morganna, I'm pretty confident in moving forward and having them continue for the rest of the project's characters, so Mori will be officially the project's character artist henceforth.

These character designs are not just for concept art purposes, but also in game menus.

These also appear in the battle screen, and the screen itself will be changing.


I will either keep the windowscreens for battle off, or I will be greatly minimalizing them to take up less of the screen. That will come once I'm ready to more deeply move into asset renovation.

Onto in game development then. Yep, still working on human side of things, currently renovating the restaurant/bar scene. I've polished a few things as well, such as getting rid of the Brol fight and making it just a quick moment. The infiltration mission covered Giao's gameplay well enough, so there's no point in showing off again. Beyond that, some scene polish for the ending of the Infiltration mission was worked out and I have one more bug to sort out before that part is considered done.

I'm going to try and wrap up the human side of things tonight but that could go any way really. If I can get through this story stuff for the human side, I will be so much closer to being done with this update. Once the update is done, I'm going to have a lot of fun with my future plans.
